ALSI GULAB JAMUN MUG CAKE
Mug cakes are the ultimate form of comfort desserts. They are quick, easy to make and super delicious. The use of flax seeds in this recipe serves as both a substitute for egg and as a nutritional ingredient.
Preparation time: 10 minutes (Serves 2)
Ingredients:
• ½ cup refined flour
• ½ cup castor sugar
• ½ tbsp baking powder
• 1½ tbsp flaxseeds powder (soaked in water)
• 1 ½ tbsp cocoa powder
• ½ tsp vanilla essence
• 4 tbsp milk
• 2 tbsp butter (melted)
• 3 tbsp chocolate chips
• 1 tsp icing sugar for dusting
Preparation:
• Mix cocoa powder, flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl
• Mix the wet ingredients (milk, butter and flaxseeds powder) and dry ingredients (cocoa powder, flour, sugar and baking powder) well to form an even thick batter
• Pour the mixture in the ceramic mug leaving little space for the cake to rise and microwave it for 1 minute
• Take it out and rest for 1 minute
• Serve hot with a sugar dust
