Citrus saffron lemonade
Makes about 1½ litres
Prepare 5 minutes
Ingredients
• juice of 2 lemons, plus 1 sliced into rounds
• juice of 2 limes, plus 1 sliced into rounds
• juice of 2 grapefruit, plus 1 sliced into rounds
• 100g refined sugar
• pinch saffron
Method
1. In a large glass jug, combine the citrus juice, sugar and saffron until the sugar has dissolved. Add 1 litre water and stir to mix.
2. When you’re ready to serve, top up the lemonade with crushed ice and citrus fruit slices and pour among six Firenze High Balls.
