    CEVICHE

    Ceviche is Peru’s national dish. This seafood preparation is a must have for any visitor to latin america. 

    Preparation time: 30 minutes (Serves 3)

    For Ceviche

    Ingredients:

           100 ml lime juice

           150 gms river fish (skinned, small fillets)

           100 gms small shrimp (peeled)

           5 gms sea salt

    For Salad

    Ingredients:

           ½ avocado ripe

           5 pcs leafy lettuce (hand torn)

           1 tomato (deseeded cubes)

           4 black pepper (cracked)

           2 tbsp coriander (chopped)

           1 red chilli fresh (sliced)

           1 cucumber cubes

           1 onion cubes

           1 tsp sugar

    Salt as required

    Preparation:

           Soak the fish and shrimp in lime juice and sea salt for 20 minutes

           Press the fish and shrimp to remove the extra lime water

           Pat the fish and shrimp dry. Keep aside

           In a bowl, mix all the vegetables and

           leaves as mentioned above

           Add sugar, salt and pepper

           Spread mayonnaise over the tortillas

           Top it up with dry fish mixture
