CEVICHE
Ceviche is Peru’s national dish. This seafood preparation is a must have for any visitor to latin america.
Preparation time: 30 minutes (Serves 3)
For Ceviche
Ingredients:
• 100 ml lime juice
• 150 gms river fish (skinned, small fillets)
• 100 gms small shrimp (peeled)
• 5 gms sea salt
For Salad
Ingredients:
• ½ avocado ripe
• 5 pcs leafy lettuce (hand torn)
• 1 tomato (deseeded cubes)
• 4 black pepper (cracked)
• 2 tbsp coriander (chopped)
• 1 red chilli fresh (sliced)
• 1 cucumber cubes
• 1 onion cubes
• 1 tsp sugar
Salt as required
Preparation:
• Soak the fish and shrimp in lime juice and sea salt for 20 minutes
• Press the fish and shrimp to remove the extra lime water
• Pat the fish and shrimp dry. Keep aside
• In a bowl, mix all the vegetables and
• leaves as mentioned above
• Add sugar, salt and pepper
• Spread mayonnaise over the tortillas
• Top it up with dry fish mixture
